Completing the Pre-Licensing Course
Each chapter of your course is designed to blend several different learning styles.
Use the PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons in the lower right of the screen to navigate through the chapter content. This is where you will find the keywords, reading material, and review notes for each chapter.
To ensure your progress is properly tracked, use the X in the upper right when exiting the course content, chapter exams, and the comprehensive final exam.
You can take a break in the middle of a chapter at any time by clicking the X in the upper right. You will be able to pick up from where you left off when you return.
You will not receive credit for completing the chapter until the last page (review notes) of that chapter is accessed.
Reviewing each chapter in the following manner is essential to maximizing your learning experience and fully taking advantage of our blended learning platform.
Watch the INTRODUCTION VIDEO that will introduce you to the key topics for each chapter.
Review the KEYWORDS that will be covered in the chapter content.
Read all the CHAPTER CONTENT.
Review the REVIEW NOTES. The review notes will reaffirm the key concepts of the chapter.
Watch the SUMMARY VIDEO. The subject matter expert will cover the key areas from each chapter. Feel free to pause, rewind, make a note of things that confuse you, and watch again.
Once you feel that you have a solid understanding of the key topics, select the CHAPTER EXAM for that chapter. Per state regulation, you must view all content before attempting the chapter exam. Chapter exams require a passing score of at least 70% before moving to the next chapter. On average, it takes new students 3 attempts before achieving a score of 70%. It is important for you to go back into the chapter study materials and review the information before each attempt. This ensures you are learning the concepts and not just memorizing questions.
Once you score 70% or greater, move on to the next chapter. Do not go back and retake the chapter exams after scoring 70%.
